I consider moms to be the CEOs of their household. We do budgets, manage people and calendars, coordinate and oversee a million different projects. Most of them in construction. Paper, that is.
As a blogging mama, I am also running a small business on top of my mothering and household duties!
I?ve been working to make our family office more conducive to working. And playing, and homeschooling, and crafting, and? You see I have my work cut out!
I actually really love our office layout because it allows hubby and I to work side by side, on our own computers but share printers, supplies, desk space?wait, I don?t share desk space, I kind of take it over. Right, dear?
What can I say, I like to spread out!
My recent pregnancy revealed a problem with my workspace! My chair! I had a dinky rolling chair so flimsy, if I leaned forward, the whole thing would flip out from under me. Not good when you are prego.
So I stole borrowed hubby?s executive chair to accommodate my growing body. Told you I like to spread out! Ahh that chair was comfy, BUT it was too big, truthfully.
