Beyond Find in Word ? Business Management Daily: Free Reports ...

Beyond Find Many people have used Find for years in Microsoft Word without ever clicking on the More>> button.

Find More

Find More

Here are all the things you can look for specifically:
  • Your search words in the case you type them in, so This, THIS, or this.
  • Words that sound like other words (searching for cash, will also find cache and catch).
  • Words with wildcards in them (searching for w*sh, will find wash and wish)
There?s even more than that!

Find Options

Choose the Format button at the bottom left corner and search for words that formatted a specific font, paragraph format or style. In Office 2007 and prior versions, Ctrl+F or the Find button will bring up the initial dialog box. In Office 2010, Ctrl+F now brings up the find tab in Navigation pane on the left-hand side of the screen. Use either the drop down arrow to the right of the search field or the drop down arrow on the Find button to select Advanced Find.
